Significance
When you consider the “Red Horse” (Mars/Agni) in the context of the Kailash Parikrama, the geometry becomes even more profound.
The South Face of Kailash often called the “Spine of the Universe” is associated with the Lapis Lazuli element. Geometrically, when the Sun (represented by the red horses of Surya) hits this face at a specific angle during the spring equinox, it creates a perpendicular alignment with the mountain's vertical rift.
- *Internal Alchemy: In your practice, this represents the Sushumna Nadi (the central channel). The “Red Horse” energy of Mars provides the Tapas (heat/fire) necessary to push energy up this geometric axis.
- *The Axis Mundi: Because Kailash is a natural pyramid, the geometric alignment of your body moving around it (the 52km circle) acts as a centrifuge. It spins off “karmic density” (associated with the Kali Yuga) and aligns your internal geometry with the cardinal points of the mountain.
